Terms and Conditions of Travel
Tigers Transport is a licensed by DVLA of South East England and London, therefore has to comply with all regulations.
We have adopted our terms and conditions to best protect our employees, staff, external contractors and customers at all times.
We aim to provide world class customer service and transfers, adhering to our policies allows us to be well equipped to provide this.
Addresses and Information Requests
Customers need to provide adequate collection, and addresses for transfers, our drivers are best equipped to follow full addresses and only these will be adhered to on the day of travel. If you wish to change addresses, or timings of collections, this must be notified at least 48 hours in advance of the travel date and we will do our best to adjust to the requirements however this may not always be possible.
Alcohol and Drugs Use
We may allow alcohol on board, unless it's a football related transfer to which is illegal and will not be allowed. If we believe, or suspect that the passengers are travelling to a football game, or venue then the driver will have no choice but to abort the booking and is unable to take you any further. All other requests must be mentioned when booking, and a refundable deposit of £100 will be required to protect our vehicles from any damage.
Customers are also not misbehave or act irresponsibly whilst travelling with us, any violence or misconduct towards our vehicles or drivers will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave if this occurs.
Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your trip with us, we require 7 days notice for a full refund. We may still be able to cater for cancellations under the 7 days grace period, but this to the discretion of the operating manager on duty on the day of request, and may be subject to a 50% refund if cancellation is within 5 days of travel
Lateness
Our drivers aim to be punctual and on time and allow plenty of time for journey time, however due to traffic, breakdowns and accidents, this may not always be the case, In such event, we will aim to provide a replacement for you and keep you notified on the whereabouts of your driver, however this is purely circumstantial and Tigers Transport will not be liable for any events, flights, or meetings missed due to these circumstances. We accept no responsibility of travel times due to unpreventable measures.
Change of Date/Time Requests
We can adjust trip timings, dates and addresses of your transfer with us, if notifying us at least 7 days in advance. If the timings are longer then the initial agreed amount, it will be subject to an additional £80 per hour. If there is a date change, this will be subject to availability, which may not always be possible. Changing addresses of collections, destinations is free within a 5 miles radius. Anything over 5 miles is chargeable per mile.
Additional Drop Off Requests
Unless agreed at initial contract, additional drop offs are chargeable of £10 per drop off if within 5 miles radius. Anything over 5 miles, will be charged at the drivers rate on the day as per complying with driver hour regulations.
Late Departures/Collections
We understand that occasionally, events may over run and not be possible to return on time to the minibus or coach. However, our drivers are under strict working hours, and this may be charged depending on the length of time of prolonged wait. Our of courtesy, the first 15 minutes of waiting time is free, however anything over 15 minutes is chargeable of £25.00 per 15 minutes. This will need to be paid before departing, and we may cancel the trip if this is not settled before departure.
